Merry Christmas!
Christmas Day antics for some operators yesterday.
Peter VK5PJ and ZL2GT topped out the maximum distance on 2m at 3385 km via Sporadic E.
There was a number of other E and Tropo paths as well. Tropo of note was Nigel VK6CPU at Perth on a tropo path with Phil VK5AKK near Adelaide at 2140 km. Its rare to get paths to the Perth area but it does happen on rare occasions.
On 23.12.22 Alan VK3DXE had a tropo path to VK6CPU/P at Albany at 2442 km. The only station in Victoria to get across the Bight.
While I was not available in shack on Christmas day, from what I noted online, 50 MHz WSPR was also going crazy, as you would expect.
