Do you excel in writing and proofing textual material and promoting our great hobby? Are you able to commit to weekly deadlines by taking responsibility as part of a team?
As heard on the WIA National News, Graham VK4BB is taking a break from his incredible role of anchor and presenter of the broadcast. The WIA Board is taking this opportunity to share the load of sourcing, editing, presenting and recording the broadcast to a WIA Broadcast team.
The WIA Board has approved Terms of Reference and Role Descriptions to define the roles that produce the broadcast. These are available on the WIA website. Currently, the WIA is in urgent need of editors which is an important role generating material for presenters and anchors.

The regular sourcing and editing of material is the foundation of the broadcast. The editor role has the flexibility to define and manage broadcast templates. As a critical role, the WIA Board intends to share the opportunity across a team of people.

For more information please refer to the documents on the website. To express an interest in generating copy as an editor please let the WIA know by emailing nationalnews@wia.org.au
