I was given this couple days back ,but can’t transmitt,receive is perfect .
My friend reckons he set the tone ,123,for 146700 ,so can someone help me get started ,would like to chat with the Gold Coast net each morning

Yet to be confirmed but it it is probable that Bruce's antenna or coax feed could be at fault.  I did a number of tests with him over about 3/4 hour period with him trying 3 different 2M radios all indicating correct frequencies, transmit power etc. yet he was unable to trigger the Gold Coast repeater - yet he could hear just me on simplex. No sign of any transmitted signal here on different frequencies and two different radios/antennas or my SDR. I find it difficult to believe that the three 2M radios he has are all faulty on transmit, particularly when they all indicate RF output.

His coax/ Ringo antenna combo is the only common factor left and he is trying to set up an alternative to test with.
