If you note something strange with this forum, post to this topic so I can investigate....

The OzLogger forum was created because the VKLogger.com forum was archived on 27th august 2016 and hence was no longer accepting new posts. Unlike the original forum, I don't have any real concerns about the number of inactive visitors using resources.

The forum is currently hosted via an ADSL connection so performance will be slower than the original VKLogger hosting - please accept the increased access time as a known limitation. It is still better than no forum at all.

The only acceptable username is an amateur callsign that can be verified through the ACMA database or via Google searches. Invalid user account names will be locked out prior to validation. Initially, users will need to be individually verified by me as valid amateur licence holders until such time as I can utilise others to assist. That means that there will be a delay between when you register on the forum and when you can post, hopefully within a day or so.

Forum etiquette:
Friendliness First. Please ensure that your whole post is respectful of the feelings and cultures of all others.
Consider whether your post is more suited for another forum.
Assist your readers by making your topic heading as relevant and descriptive as possible.

Things that will get people banned from the forum will be postings with obscene or profane language or images or attacking other users. Topics will not be 'locked', the offenders will simply be inhibited from the system - no apologies and no recourse.

It will take a while for the settings to be set up in a similar way to its predecessor so it is again familiar to all.
