Search engine results for Ozlogger... - VK4ADC - 02-02-2017 I suspect that there are a lot of amateurs in VK (& ZL) who still do not know of Ozlogger's existence some 4+ months after it was started ( to provide a similar forum service to that VKLogger provided prior to its archival at the end of August 2016). The member numbers are growing quite slowly now so that means that the info is only trickling out about this forum to possible new users. Many I speak to on air are unaware so I usually suggest they visit the forum and "have a gander". I would like to improve the search engine results for Ozlogger and I need some help to do so. If you have a suitable web site or even a Facebook page, place a link to Ozlogger.Net on it on high-ish level page, one that the search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo etc regularly visit. Just make sure that any links are to "http://www.ozlogger.net" rather than any sub folder or web page (eg NOT "www.ozlogger.net/forum/"). The better the search engine results, the more likely we will see more users join in "the conversations" about topics of interest to them and you. And, don't forget to tell others when you are chatting on-air... Ask them whether they have visited. Keep in mind that the forum is only as interesting as its users and their posts. Doug VK4ADC |
