FTDX101D & SCU17 ? - VK4CCV - 13-04-2024
Hi All,
After using an FTDX5000MP for a number of years and the OLED's are on the way out, I have decided to purchase a new FTDX101D.
When using Digital Modes I have been using the SCU-17 Interface and Cable to suit the FTDX5000.
I am not sure if the SCU-17 is still relevant when operating the digital modes on the 101D.
If the Interface is still needed, what Cable Set is needed to suit the 101D?

Hi Peter,
You will not need the SCU17 with the FTDX101D, they are in built into the radio.
