MXP5OM amplifier - VK4WDM - 27-07-2017

Is anybody using a MXP5OM amplifier with their FT817? How good is it and were there any hassles with getting it sent from China?

Hello Wayne

You mean the MX-P50M for an FT-817?

The link above appears safe and the review makes interesting reading.

Deliveries from China are like deliveries from anywhere... now and then they mess it up, or things go astray due to factors the seller cannot be expected to control. If you get it via EBay, there are some protections. I have bought many things directly from Chinese sellers and have not had problems so far. As they say, your mileage may vary!

good luck,
