Maybe 2018 Summer FD might be a good mark in the sand as it would allow any rule changes to be published in AR beforehand. Now all we have to achieve is greater participation. Anyone know "someone" who can control the weather on FD weekends ? Good weather forecasts might provide greater incentive for many, me included, to 'head for the hills'. Maybe a dig in the ribs of those listed as active in (previous) FDs over the last few years but not in the last one or two might also help. They likely still have the gear (ants, coaxes, radios...) and just need to be re-energised. Any thoughts from your end ??? 73 Doug VK4ADC RE: 2017 Winter VHF-UHF Field Day Results - VK3CWF - 27-10-2017 Have certificates for the winter field day been sent out? - Bill, VK3CWF |
