WebSDR control - VK3ALB - 28-03-2018

This guy has written a program which allows your rig to control one of the many WebSDR sites around the world. Imagine, you are plagued by local QRM/QRN yet within your region there is a nice WebSDR receiver with a low noise floor that hears everything. Plug your radio in, turn down the rig volume and turn up the PC volume and you're on the air again. Do you participate in a net where folks can hear you fine but you struggle to hear them? Maybe this can help you?

Watch the video and imagine. There is a demo version of the software and the full version is available for EU$9.95

Don't know the guy and have no affiliation with him or his product.

There is also a WebSDR app for Android called Pocket RX TX, or pRxTx for short, by PA3FWM. I have it on my Galaxy tablet. It's a free download with ads, or you can pay for the full, ad-free version.

This app has a very simple user interface with a nice "tuning knob" for the real radio feel. It also features a waterfall and spectrum scope display.
