The first ham in space W5LFL SK - VK4WDM - 19-04-2019 ARRL News reports that Owen Garriott, W5LFL, became a silent key on 15 April. I don't know if that was his first contact from space and the general contacts happened afterwards though. Recorded 5 December 1983 when I was working in Mildura, and I subsequently filed a reception report with the ARRL and received a QSL |
