Huge Sporadic E Opening 30th Nov 2019 - VK2KRR - 30-11-2019
Huge High MUF Sporadic E opening observed starting just before lunch time, eastern, on 30th Nov 2019.
Numerous 144 MHz Sporadic E paths reported onto the 2m WSPR database.
FM Broadcast radio everywhere.
I made a voice SSB QSO with VK4UH on 144.200 MHz, very strong.
Also also received 8 ships on 162 MHz AIS Marine Tracking off coast of Brisbane out to 1641 km.

I was on one of those ships off the coast and missed the event
I wonder how many other QSOs there were on non-digital modes? We had some really good SpE events last summer too but there were hardly any SSB or CW stations on. 25 years or so ago (violin playing in background 
) the word would have spread very quickly and there would be many stations on the air.73
