Vanuatu - Cyclone Harold - VK2CSW - 05-04-2020 Our Pacific neighbour, Vanuatu, is currently being threatened by Cyclone Harold. At the time of writing it was a Cat 4 but was spinning up to Cat 5. The current projections have it passing, very slowly, across the centre of the island chain in the next day or so. Most notably Esprititu Santo, Ambrym and Malekula islands. However the effects will be seen across the country. The Australian press has not actually mentioned this anywhere I have seen. For those who can, it might while away some isolation hours keeping an eye (ear?) on the IARU Region 1 Emergency Centres of Activity: 21.360 MHz, 18.160 MHz, 14.300 MHz, 7.060 MHz and 3.760 MHz.
