But if you are sort of interested in the solar flux index [SFI] which is a daily measurement of stuff from the sun that may or may not activate our F2 ionospheric layers etc.
The higher the number the better for possible dxing on HF on the higher bands and the scale is nominal 66 to about 350 approx.
I first started to check the SFI every day in november 1979 when i got my first 6 metre rig.
Every day since and including the 15th october 2019 has been at rock bottom at either 64 65 or 66
So that is 11 days straight at rock bottom of the Solar Flux cycle.
I have never seen anything like this before since november 1979.
Give me and equinox and SFI of 100 and there is a 50% chance i will work JA/BY/HL [asia] etc on 6 metres F2 and HF dx on 10 metres F2.
