Just an update on my two year long boredom breaker, in the last few weeks have managed to get to seven band DXCC (30mx through to 6mx), all via LOTW confirmations, no traditional paper QSL cards. While the numbers are not stela compared to the diehard HF op's it does let me 'scrape in' to the bottom layers of the 'club'. Of all the bands 10M has been my most fruitful hunting ground and presented some interesting propagation modes.

The real challenge now is the low bands, this is where traditionally if you have no AMP then you are lost in the noise. Does my new found interest in HF finally see me give in and go QRO? not sure, will have to wait until there are some sales of the new ICOM PW2 amp and see if any PW1's come onto the market in my price bracket.
