Dud Headphone Jack on Yaesu FTDX3000?

Hi John,

I don't have a FTDX3000, so I am guessing here.

I would be surprised if the radio has a 1/4" headphone jack that it wouldn't accept a stereo plug (as the manual implies that it does).

That leaves two options:
a) A dodgy adapter - not unheard of.
b) A dodgy radio connector - more problematic.

Could you cobble together an adapter cable using a known good plug and socket?
