Buried in that great block of text, it's kind-of no wonder it was missed. However, Andy VK3YT gained wide recognition for his pic balloon exploits over 2012-2016 on WIA News, and was awarded one of the inaugural WIA Technical Excellence Awards at the WIA AGM in 2016: http://www.wia.org.au/newsevents/news/20.../index.php
