Icom transceiver used by Taliban

I paid a visit to the Army Signals Museum at Watsonia in Victoria recently.

Very worthwhile visit, with lots to see. I think we spent around two hours there.

One thing that caught my eye was an Icom transceiver captured from the Taliban. The IC-V68 is a VHF unit covering 136 - 174MHz.

According to the blurb, the user of the radio was 'engaged' by SASR.

I, for one, would not look forward to that type of 'engagement'.  It tends to have very poor health outcomes...
