You;ll find us 'toasting the ether' ...
VKLOGGER is now gone, .http://www.on4kst.info/chat/start.php or
https://www.ahrdf.net/chat/
Alan VK2ZIW
Added in 12 minutes 35 seconds:
I should mention the frequencies
6m 50.230 MHz and sometimes 50.235 if we interfere.
Software: MSHV and WSJT
Modes most used:
MSK144 TX/RX timing 30sec - much less false decodes.
FSK441 same timing
Conventions:
Beam North, go TX First 30 secs in the minute.
Beam South, go TX Second 30 secs in the minute.
Have fun

Macros for FSK441 and MSK144
You are right Ray VK4BLK,
We had decided to use the "/" instead of " " <space> so with garbled
messages, we could see who was the sender and who was the recipient.
Then a new version comes out and we inadvertently use it's defaults....
I was late this morning so here is a snippet of the VKLOGGER chit-chat. Ten people on.
Here with you: VK2BLS VK2FAD VK2HC VK4CZ VK4DCM VK4MIL VK5KAA VK5RM VK7OT

22:29:59 VK4CZ VK4DCM: Looks like you're in FSK and not MSK. Is that right?

With VKLOGGER gone, which chat system do we use?
Lightning destroyed my FT-450D. I'm up again with an FT-857D.

I presume some will use the ON4KST chat which I think has a Region 3 only option. Not sure.
There is also the chat option available here at AHRDF and there have been enough posts on this forum for you to find the link to it. It will probably take a while before there is an activity uptake after Friday next week but it might be a good idea to keep a watch on it for future activity.
The VKLogger iChat should be up until Fri 25th so it might be a good question to ask of the users there, or make your own suggestions there. Up to you.

The ON4KST chat has a Region 3 6m group.
This is what we need. when doing Meteor Scatter, band and region specific.
