At least you won't have to change your callsign with the interstate move, not these days under the revised callsign rules

It does present a bit of a conundrum.

I use the WIA email redirection service and most times I use my WIA email address - so changing callsign presents other issues, but I would also think it would be better to have a VK5 callsign if operating from there.

I guess I could hold two callsigns.

I also need to look a bit deeper into the new rules regarding using the the VK2 callsign permanently in VK5 to see if there are any curly issues like the need for /p or the like.

In any case it will be a while until I need to resolve those things as we will most likely move to a temporary place until we can find the property we (read that as my wife) really wants
