FORUM CHANGE

The Tapatalk function certainly has not been removed or de-activated.  It does not seem to be throwing up any errors so should be ok but I will try to check it out later and resolve as needed.

Just for info, the site is 'mobile-friendly' as per this post : https://ahrdf.net/forum/thread-183-page-2.html

"New for January 2018:  A new option has been provided for "mobile device" users, a mobile-friendly template accessed by using the URL http://mobile.ahrdf.net  - it does a redirection to the main forum after that but the on-screen views are different.

Note that there are lots of the desktop version options missing under the mobile view, Latests Posts being the most obvious. It all has to do with the amount of screen real estate available on phones and tablets and since you can't fit everything, only the most basic Forum features are provided. Ditto, the Forum groups are listed but you need to "drill down" to get the individual topics and posts, again it is real estate."

Interesting. It has disappeared out of my Tapatalk feed and if I search Tapatalk for either AHRDF or Australian Ham Radio Discussion Forum it get no (useful) result.

It had been de-activated at the TapaTalk end. The account email address was the old one at ozlogger and it had sent emails to that one but had obviously bounced.  It has now been updated.

You will find it listed as 'Aussie Ham Radio Forum - AHRDF' since they don't allow enough characters to fit the name in full. I can find it now on my tablet so you should be able to also.

The AHRDF forum is running temporarily from a new server but the SSL certificate is not being recognised.  I have altered the internal settings so that it runs as http:// in lieu of https:// until the SSL issue is resolved.

At least that way the forum is still operational in the meantime (not regarded as urgent since it is a temporary server arrangement).
