Visit this Bureau of Meteorology page to see the alerts available (free) with coverage of geomagnetic and solar events affecting Australia. You can sign up there for email alerts for a number of relevant warnings etc..
Pay attention to the clients list down the LHS menu (eg Aust HF Touring Club or HF Radio Club) as they provide easy links to expected HF propagation conditions.
