Contact cleaner - recommendations?

Just wondering what people are using re contact cleaner for the older style rotary switches mainly.

I used to use the Richard Foot contact cleaner, but the crimp seals on the bottom of their cans are not the best and they tend to let go of the contents in mildly elevated temperatures.

DeOxit from Jaycar, applied sparingly.

I use "Servisol" which has been around for at least 50 years. Jaycar has it.

Thanks  Gents.

Lou, do you mean the liquid version of Deoxit or the aerosol one (Jaycar has both listed)?

I'll pickup one or the other next time I'm in town.

Hi Theo,

Yes the little twinpack spray cans. Lasts for ages if you can resist the urge of soaking the affected area. I've used it to clean switches that cannot be dismantled as well as big clunky wafers.
