We tried some digital modes, FT8 and JT65C but we need a first, a FreeDV mode 700D QSO on 23cm for Australia.

Though I could only receive with my IC-910H (lightning damage), our Western Sydney
group participated.
We anso triggered the new Maddens Plains "parrot" repeater 1296.850 FM.

A worthwhile evening. (8pm to 10pm)
